UK to host inaugural OneUK Talent Day Sept. 8, bringing corporate collaborators to campus

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Aug. 21, 2026) — The University of Kentucky will welcome OneUK companies to campus Tuesday, Sept. 8, for the first OneUK Talent Day, an event designed to deepen connections between industry leaders, faculty and students. Representatives from several OneUK corporate collaborators will participate in the daylong event, which includes coordinated speaking engagements in UK classrooms and dedicated time to connect with faculty and students across campus.

OneUK partner, Valvoline Global comes to campus for ‘OneUK day’, hosts networking session

Representatives from Valvoline Global met with students at the University of Kentucky on Feb. 12 for an open networking session designed to introduce career opportunities ahead of the university’s spring career fair. The event, co-hosted by the university’s Graham Office of Career Management and the Gatton College of Business and Economics, was held in the third-floor alcove of the Gatton building. The informal setting gave students an opportunity to connect directly with company representatives, ask questions and learn more about potential career paths.

OneUK partner, Catalent comes to campus for ‘OneUK day’

Representatives from Catalent visited the University of Kentucky campus on Feb. 10 to meet with faculty and staff and strengthen connections across academic programs. The visit was part of Catalent’s “OneUK Day,” during which company leaders engaged with university partners to build relationships and increase brand awareness among UK talent.

OneUK welcomed three corporate partners to campus this month for a series of “OneUK Visit Days” aimed at deepening relationships with the University of Kentucky. Representatives from Catalent visited Feb. 10, followed by Fischer Homes on Feb. 11 and Valvoline Global on Feb. 12. Each partner spent the day on campus engaging with UK faculty, staff and students through classroom visits and strategic meetings.

Bullard donates hardhats to support UK entertainment technicians

Bullard, a OneUK partner and Kentucky-based manufacturer of personal protective equipment, has donated Type 2 hard hats to University of Kentucky Fine Arts entertainment technicians, providing students with enhanced safety equipment while creating an opportunity for industry feedback.  The donation supports students who work behind the scenes on performances and events, where overhead hazards and technical rigging are common but high-quality safety equipment is not always standard in the entertainment industry.
